The Bossier City Council officially cut ties with the Bossier Arts Council after concerns over improper financial reporting. The Shreveport City Council released updated details on the "Renew Shreveport" bond project following their March 9 meeting. The updates cover improvements to public works and water & sewerage infrastructure — two areas our city desperately needs attention on. The NWS says March is ending warmer and drier than normal, and that's driving elevated fire danger across the ArkLaTex. A cold front rolls in Monday to knock temps back to the low-mid 80s, so enjoy this stretch while it lasts.
